A bit of history

The dairy Bonat has been in the family for four generations, today Gianluca and his father Giorgio Bonatti run the show, raising their own cows, gathering their high-quality milk, and producing incredible cheese. Today they have 100 cows, whose milk all goes to producing the delicious Parmigiano Reggiano.

Their dedication to the Parmigiano Reggiano full cycle is what sets them apart from other producers. They use only the milk of their own cows, who are fed hay and grass only from their own fields. Their farm is self-sufficient and comes into a closed circle. This allows them to control the high quality of their cheese from start to finish.
Apart from their delectable selection of Parmigiano Reggiano, they produce tomato sauce from their own gardens.
