Chiesina di Lacona
The name Chiesina di Lacona derives from the 12th century Romanesque parish church, where one’s gaze can glide over the full expanse of the estate’s vineyards down to the. sea.
The company’s land is located in the southern part of the island of Elba, where there is a wealth of sand and debris from the disintegration of rocks.
Today Filippo Alampi is at the helm of the company founded by his great-grandfather in 1947. Theirs is a young and modern business that places no limits on the quality of their wines.
The winery’s aim is to produce great wines from Elba in order to publicise the value of this island’s wine production. Among the winery’s 20 hectares of land, excellence and sustainability are the two overriding values.
The labels are made of cotton, the cork is made from sugar beet processing waste and the bottles have a lower glass average.
