Poderi Gianni Gagliardo
The vines of Poderi Gianni Gagliardo date back to the mid 19th century when the Colla family began to cultivate them. Over time the family worked with Moscato and Dolcetto, the typical grapes of their land.
But Paolo Colla continued to dream of making a great Barolo. In 1961 he takes action toward his dreams and purchases a vineyard in La Morra, one of Barolo’s municipalities, known for elegant smooth production. Over time they have continued to produce beautiful Barolo, Arneis, Dolcetto, and more.
Poderi Gianni Gagliardo believes in the strength of wine to bring people together, and to strengthen bonds among neighbors and friends through sharing a glass. Today they continue to experiment with adjusting their production for the best possible quality, while always honoring the deep-set wine-making tradition of the region.
