A bit of history

The Rovellotti winery represents one of the best quality expressions of local wine production in Ghemme. It was founded by Antonello and Paolo Rovellotti in 1972 in the heart of the ancient Rettuario Gotico, a fortified medieval castle that was once the wine supplier to the Sforza Court. The vineyard consists of 25 hectares and is situated on the first moraine hill of Ghemme in the sub-zone of Baraggiole. Today it is family-run, but with a team of experts sharing their knowledge to help create the best wine, including their vineyard management team of Samantha together with Adil and Houssain who have all found a family with Rovellotti.

The Rovellotti company is firmly anchored in the winemaking traditions of the area and carries out its winemaking activities according to the rules and techniques handed down from a 600-year-old tradition that sees technological innovation as a solid continuity.
