Honey

Honey is another traditional Italian excellence, it is enjoyed in many sweets, drizzled over seasonings and even used to flavour meat.  Beekeeping is an ancient tradition here: its origins can be traced back to ancient times, as historical documents attest. Today our classic variations are made from various plants, the chestnut honey is rich and a local favourite in the fall, then there is our mountain wildflower honey, sweet and light pairing with many mountain cheeses.
