Artisanal sesame breadsticks

Panificio Patti's sesame breadsticks, known as grissini, are the perfect harmony between naturalness and taste.

The sesame breadsticks are hand-rolled by the master bakers of Panificio Patti in Biella: the historic bakery that has been following the traditional recipes of Piedmontese food and wine since 1970 and still uses vintage machines to make all their products.
The success of the grissini lies in their lightness and fragrance, as well as being easier to digest than bread. In fact, legend has it that back in 1679 the Savoy court baker, Antonio Brunero, invented the recipe for "ghersin" to feed the future King Victor Amadeus II, who had trouble digesting breadcrumbs.

The sesame breadsticks are excellent paired with a selection of Palzola Gorgonzola or wrapped in Masera's Giambun. But don't forget to dip a breadstick in honey: the combination of the sweetness of the honey and the bitterness of the toasted sesame will drive your taste buds crazy!
