Every bite of Black Pig salami is a journey of rediscovery of the Val d'Ossola, in Alto Piemonte.
The cuts of meat selected are the finest: loin, thigh, fillet, shoulder with added cheek fat, culatello, shoulder head and lard. Its flavour retains all the essence of the black pig breed, more savoury and intense than the traditional one, without losing delicacy and the balance of each flavour. The medium-large minced meat makes the taste even more special, perceptible despite its consistency. The artisan processing involves the use of sausage in natural pork gut and a tasty seasoning with peppercorns and spices. The seasoning takes place over a period of time ranging from 70 to 120 days to obtain a stronger flavour.
Being so simple, the Black Pig aged salami is the spokesman of the Val d'Ossola's valiant heritage, its local culture and traditional flavours. Bring it to the table for an aperitif with friends or use it in the kitchen to enrich your dishes, from omelettes to pizza and risottos.
The wine to be paired must be a glass that balances the salami's flavour, with a fresh and slightly effervescent touch, such as Elba Bianco DOC "Casa degli Ajali" di Mola.
Shipping & delivery
We prepare the order in 24-48 hours and shipping to Europe usually takes 2 or 3 days.
Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.
Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
