Description

The Sangiovese grapes are grown on arid and stony soils. The grapes are harvested at the end of September, by hand in boxes. Every stage of processing is carried out by hand by the Palazzo family.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks and maceration lasts up to 20 days.
Ageing takes place in oak barrels.

Aromatic richness, expressive power and impressive structure make it one of the most legendary wines in Italy.

Tasting Notes

It's an intense ruby colour with garnet hues. The nose enchants with its broad and elegant bouquet with balsamic and floral notes. The palate is enveloping and delicate with notes of currants and berries, excellent balance between savoury notes and tannins.

Food Pairings

Its noble sip prefers matches of the same tenor. This is why we recommend pairing it with game meat, stews or as a condiment for pasta dishes. Also excellent with mature cheeses.

We prepare the order in 24-48 hours and shipping to Europe usually takes 2 or 3 days.

Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.

Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
