Culatello di Zibello, noble and princely, is without a shadow of a doubt the most prized cured meat.
It is made using the leanest part of the thighs of selected pigs, the meat, while still fresh, is sprinkled with salt, massaged and then left to rest.
The seasoning process is possible thanks above all to the wise exploitation of the climate of the Bassa Parmense. Only the perfect combination of summer heat and autumn mists will allow Culatello to acquire its inimitable aroma.
The Culatello that Fattoria di Parma produces is made in limited quantities only during the cold months and is aged in humid cellars for a period of never less than 12 months.
It is very sweet on the palate, with aromas of hazelnut, vanilla and hints of underbrush.
It is at its best when tasted alone, finely cut.
Excellent accompanied by warm white bread, butter curls and a glass of medium-sized red wine or a flute of classic method sparkling wine.

It is our priority to pack and ship the products securely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum-sealed and we use dry ice and thermal bags.
Wine (or bottles in general) are shipped using inflatable bags and are designed to protect them throughout the journey. We remind you that all packaging can be easily reused.
