Description

Lucius Dry Gin is the first distillate in which Gorgonzola is the absolute protagonist.
It's a courageous and irreverent creation by three young men to enhance the ancient taste of Piedmont in a completely new and innovative way.

Lucius Dry Gin is a distilled dry gin with Gorgonzola and typical botanicals from the Piedmont mountains: juniper, moss and lichen.
Its name is a tribute to Saint Lucius, the patron saint of cheesemakers and Gorgonzola cheese makers, whose anniversary is celebrated on 12 July each year.

It has a balsamic and unexpectedly fresh touch. The savoury, spicy and intense flavour of Gorgonzola is skilfully balanced and softened by mountain botanicals for a harmonious and persistent result. It's made in small quantities, following artisan processing and excellent raw materials.

The Gorgonzola is produced by a small Piedmontese cheesemaker and the botanicals are hand-picked in the Alps.
Juniper comes from the Ossola Valley, has a particularly aromatic taste and gives resinous nuances to the strong flavour of the blue cheese.
Moss and lichen give an undergrowth thrust to each sip. The same scent that can be perceived on a rainy day in the mountains.

Great to drink on its own or to use as a base for cocktails. Try it with classic tonic with added sage and pear slices. Or mixed with white Vermouth.

We prepare the order in 24-48 hours and shipping to Europe usually takes 2 or 3 days.

Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.

Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
