The anchovy of the valley (Engraulis encrasicolus) is small with less fat content than the one found in the sea. It's found commonly in our local Comacchio Valley. The marinated anchovy of the Comacchio Valley is a local speciality. The freshly caught anchovy is transported alive to the Manifattura dei Marinati, where it is washed, and fried with flour and sunflower oil. Once weighed, it is left to marinate in a brine consisting of vinegar, water and Cervia whole sea salt.
This traditional product is excellent to enjoy on its own as an aperitivo or side to a special dinner.

We prepare the order in 24-48 hours and shipping to Europe usually takes 2 or 3 days.
Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.
Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
