This peculiar Multiflower honey is made in the Antrona valley, near the Lake Maggiore, famous for its uncontaminated nature and its lake. Its availability depends on the season, thus it’s very limited, making Lake Antrona honey a rare gem among Piedmontese honeys.
The Multiflower honey (“Millefiori honey”) comes from a variety of flowers, which reunite all the healthy properties from the different botanical species. The harvest period influences the color because the flora from which the bees take the nectar differs on a monthly basis.
Try the honey for breakfast with bread and butter or as an appetizer with some strong cheese and jams.
