Zanardi's Salame Punta di Coltello is a real delicacy that you would never have thought you could taste. Its peculiarity, from which it takes its name, is the fact that it is processed exclusively with the knife without using mechanical machines.
By using only the knife, the meat is not heated and retains its taste and aroma.
In addition to this particular process, which best expresses the craftsmanship of the Salumificio Zanardi, there is the careful selection of raw materials, strictly of Piedmontese origin, and the slowness of its preparation: the result is a salami with a unique consistency with irregular pieces of fat and a ruby red colour.
The curing is carried out with sea salt, freshly ground pepper, a splash of wine from the Colline Novaresi and the right maturing time.
Punta di Coltello will make you experience a long-forgotten taste.
Excellent to use for an aperitif, combined with warm bread, a good selection of mature and fresh cheeses. Try it to prepare an omelette for a meal with an original flavour!
Shipping & delivery
We prepare the order in 24-48 hours and shipping to Europe usually takes 2 or 3 days.
Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.
Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
