Roero Arneis DOCG

Southern Piedmont is recognised as one of the most prestigious areas for the production of great wines. One of these was born in the Roero region, a really interesting white made from Arneis grapes, known as Roero Arneis DOCG.

In the popular tradition of the area, Arneis indicates an extrovert and somewhat rebellious person, original and likable at the same time. Sometimes it can be translated into a "Little Rascal".  We see the same characteristics in this wine: it is a dry white wine DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) whose production is only allowed in the 19 municipalities of the province of Cuneo on the left bank of the Tanaro river.

Its alcohol content is generally between 12.5 and 14% vol. but the wine guarantees a good envelopment and a really interesting full taste. In recent years this wine has been experiencing great development, being increasingly appreciated both in Italy and abroad for its pleasant drinkability.
Only thirty years ago, few people invested in the vine, while today 6 million bottles are produced each year.

The wine created by Lagobava has straw colour with golden hues. The wine is kept on the lees in steel tanks until bottling.
The bouquet is fruity, with a good aromatic notes. The taste is fresh, fragrant with great minerality. You can taste notes of white fruit and citrus.

It is an aperitivo wine but it also goes very well with hors d'oeuvres, light first courses, or fish dishes. An unmissable wine for enjoying your summer aperitivo by the pool!
