Description

Albana is one of Romagna's most traditional local grapes, and the Romagna DOCG is famous for being their most historic DOCG. Quality was recognized in this appellation very early on and producers, especially Zavalloni, continue to show us what an excellent white wine it can be.

The Sweet Albana goes through a slightly different vinification process to result in a slightly less dry wine. It is still 100% Albana, hand-harvested from two vineyards. Before being bottled the wine spends 4 months in steel tanks with batonnage, in its yeasts.

The final wine is straw-coloured, with aromas of apple, melon, and citrus. Its quality is immediately apparent through its well-roundedness. It is a fresh white wine enjoyed best chilled, with an aperitivo, semi-aged cheeses or vegetable-based dishes.

Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.

Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
