Salame di Rustichello Romagnolo in Beeswax has a delicious flavour, you'll notice it at the first bite.
The Rustichello pig breed is typical of Emilia Romagna and derives from a particular cross between pink pigs. They are bred by Azienda Zavoli with an organic diet: the meat obtained has an excellent proportion between lean and fatty cuts and is characterised by a bright red colour. The meat is processed exclusively by hand and seasoned only with Cervia salt and pepper to enhance the intense flavour of Rustichello to the maximum. The natural beeswax casing gives a delicate fragrance and a fruity aftertaste.
When the salami reaches the right point of maturation, it is covered with a natural product, beeswax, which keeps its organoleptic characteristics unchanged over time. The beeswax is a breathable casing that allows the salami to breathe and allows moisture to escape, thus stopping the maturing process at the ideal level.
Beeswax is environmentally friendly and biodegradable and represents a packaging method with zero environmental impact. The beeswax casing has won the Zavoli company the Slow Pack Award.
Excellent to serve for the aperitif board accompanied by a glass of Bolle Rosse di Acetaia Pedroni.
Shipping & delivery
We prepare the order in 24-48 hours and shipping to Europe usually takes 2 or 3 days.
Our priority is to pack and ship the products safely. All the different types of cheese are vacuum sealed and we use dry ice and cool bags to keep the products fresh and their quality intact.
Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
