Salted chiacchiere are crispy, tasty, light and crumbly.

The origin of this delicacy dates back to Roman times when, before Lent, sweets were made to distribute to the people. As the Roman Empire extended almost all over Italy, each area offered its own variant. The Bologna one was prepared with leftover bread dough to be left to rise for 20 hours and then fried. The Bolognese also gave a special name to these delicacies, in fact, the term 'Chiacchiere' (chatter) derives from the habit of munching on them over a glass of wine and in good company.

The Carmonini family still prepares these delicacies using the historic recipe, the secret of which they jealously guard. Make your every break special with Chiacchiere Salate.

When added to salads, soups or appetizers, they can give the special touch you are looking for to any dish.

Try them as an aperitif with a board of Salame Zia with garlic from Bonfatti and Caciotta of Vacche Rosse.

Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.

Wheat flour, water, sunflower oil, iodized sea salt (2.6%), refined lard, whole milk, sugar, brewer's yeast, malted wheat flour. Fried in sunflower oil. May contain traces of egg and soya, mustard and lupine.
