Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Nature Rosè “Stella Maris” IGT
Alcohol volume 12,5%
Serving Temperature 6°-8°C
Who said that stars are only in the sky and not also under the ground? The Spumante Metodo Classico Brut Nature Rosè 'Stella Maris' is aged at sea and is unique. A bottle that can make your cellar sparkle. The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes and then aged for a year in the bottle in contact with the yeasts. The following three months are characterised by ageing at sea in 'ostrighe', i.e. boxes typically made for raising oysters. The incessant fluctuation of the waves continues to move the yeasts and make this wine astonishing. Disgorgement is carried out immediately after picking.
To the eye, the colour expresses its preciousness: pearlescent golden yellow with a fine, persistent bubble. The nose is intense and elegant, vegetal hints and fruity berry notes, slightly citrusy. The drink is light and pleasant, softly enveloping the palate. The finish is long and carries aromatic notes reminiscent of orange peel.
Ideal to serve with fish dishes, to enhance their delicacy and overpowering flavour. Excellent with shellfish or grilled fish.
Why Do We Love It?
It is a unique wine, aged at sea. The only Metodo Classico sparkling wine to be aged in the Po Biosphere area, which is particularly wet and part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
