The best things are always the simplest.
Like Tigelle emiliane: the typical soft focaccia from Modena. They are made with a very simple dough that includes only flour, lard, yeast and milk. And yet, their taste is truly irresistible!

The origin of the recipe is really old, just think that their name comes from "Tigelliera", that is, the traditional terracotta pan used in Roman times for baking them. With the passing of time, tigelle have become an integral part of the consumption of the Emilians, who have perfected the recipe and the balance between the various flavours.

Caseificio Valsamoggia, offers tigelle in their most authentic version: golden on the surface, crispy outside but soft inside. They are perfect to serve on the table as bread to accompany side dishes, to be stuffed with cold meats and cheeses or sweet creams. You'll never tire of their taste!

How to cook them? If you use a toaster oven, you will need to heat them up for about 4 minutes. If you prefer a traditional oven, make sure it is preheated to 180°.
You can have your pick of fillings, but try our suggestion: sweet gorgonzola, acacia honey and slices of fresh pears.

Do you know what is carved on top of the tigelle? The "Flower of Life", made of 7 intersecting circles as a symbol of life and prosperity.

Wine and all bottles in general are shipped in inflatable bags, designed to protect them throughout their journey. Please note that all packaging can be easily reused.
