Vermentino di Sardegna DOC “Giancu”

Cantina Tanca Gioia's Vermentino di Sardegna "Giancu" has a straw yellow colour, as bright as the sun that warms its land, with subtle greenish reflections. The nose initially offers nuances of peach and apple, lime, ending with mineral and slightly vegetal notes.
The taste is typically crisp, with good persistence and a savoury finish.

This is the freshest and most drinkable label in the entire winery. The name "Giancu" means "white" in Ligurian dialect. In fact, the cultivation area of the Vermentino vine was once a land of exchange between Ligurians and Tunisians, where the Tabarkino dialect is still spoken today.

Ideal to accompany rich and seasoned salads or for a candlelit fish dinner.
Excellent with soft cheeses and focaccia.
